My perspective comes from the investor side. I understand how funds think about leadership, how portfolio companies experience a search, and where the two perspectives do not always align.
My role is often to bridge that gap — bringing clarity to the brief, judgement to the process and alignment across stakeholders, so leadership decisions support long-term value creation.
I spent fourteen years at Wellington Partners, working across the portfolio on senior hiring, talent and organisational questions.
Before joining Wellington Partners, I spent eight years with JP Morgan in Frankfurt, London and New York and later worked at Allianz Asset Management. I then moved into executive search with Michael Page, where I developed my focus on senior leadership hiring before transitioning into venture capital.
Today, I work independently with PE and VC funds, supporting leadership hiring and talent decisions across their portfolio companies. My work combines two areas: Search Advisory, where I manage senior search processes from the investor side, and Executive Search, where I work directly on selected mandates together with Daniela Blumenwitz.
Since 2019, I have supported a global private equity fund on talent and recruitment across its DACH portfolio. I also hold long-standing roles with German VC funds.
I am a certified Hogan Assessment practitioner and use the methodology selectively in management assessment and senior hiring situations.
My work is primarily in the DACH region, with mandates and networks extending across Europe.
My focus is helping investors make leadership decisions that support long-term value creation.
